This page is devoted to the family of my great-aunt Sarah Fleetwood Hendrix. While I have begun to add my own research to the story of this family, much of the information was collected by Sarah.

The families included here are:

Malcolm McLeod and his son John of Scotland. John was born in 1773. They settled in North Carolina where John's son Daniel was born. Daniel was in Shelby County, Alabama, by 1833.

Thomas Jones of North Carolina and Virginia. Thomas's son Thomas was born in Virginia and was in Talladega County, Alabama, by 1850.

John Morgan, 1700's, South Carolina. John's son Lewis was in Georgia by 1783.

George W Thompson of North Carolina and Tennessee. George was in Alabama by 1838 and was in Talladega, Alabama, in 1850.

John Fleetwood of North Carolina. John's son Green was born in Savannah in 1810.
