William Herbert (1850-1933) and Margaret Hopkins (1852-1928) immigrated from Wales in 1879, first to Ohio, and then to Alabama, where they had their last home in Bessemer. William is the son of David Herbert and Jane of Glamorgan county, Wales. Margaret is the daughter of William Hopkins and Kathrine Jones.
