Note 1: Most likely Johannes Speiser, 1836-1883, brother of Henry David Speiser. Johannes owned the inn called "The Ox", just as his father before him did.

Note 2: Most likely the sister in the picture with Henry is Rosine Caroline Speiser, 1848-abt 1907. They were the only two unmarried and still at home in 1866.

Note 3: Lydia Speiser Reuther identified this picture as Emma, Henry & Hugo, but I think it is actually Emma, Herman & Hugo.
