The Hotel Rössle in Ötlingen. This inn was owned by Johann David Speiser (1707-1759) and his son Johann Wilhelm Speiser
(1732-1790). We are directly descended from them. It still operates as a hotel. The interior was throughly modernised in 2006.
Mühle Sting in Jesingen dating to 1426. The Mühle (or Mill) Sting entered into the Sting family in 1826 when Johann Jakob Sting married
the widow Katharina Maria (Lutz) Brennenstuhl. Their son Johann Jakob Sting (1829-1886) married Christiana Elisabetha Speiser
(1833-1913). Their descendants still operate the mill.
